It is my belief that there is no greater advantage that can be given unto man than to have the Word of God in his hand for reading and study. What version is the best? The one that he will actually use. This app goes along with the new MacArthur Study Bible I was given for Christmas and it adds a new excitement to my personal study. I believe that God Himself has lead me in this direction. Blessed beyond measure!

Recently I’ve been experiencing a problem where the app freezes when scrolling the will jump to either Revelation or Genesis. Not sure what’s going.

I love this app, God had use to help me grow in Gods Word in many ways. I listen to sermons, do the devotional and currently is helping to work with my son to finish the Bible in a year. Thanks for Pastor John and the Grace team. May God continue spreading His Kingdom.

Very handy to have first rate commentary right in my phone.

This app frequently freezes and then goes to either Genesis or Revelation. I was just reading Isaiah 45 out loud during Bible study, which isn’t long, and it happened three times before I could get through.
  • Great Job, GTY Team!

I am thoroughly impressed with this Bible app. There are plenty of Bible apps out there for the casual reader but this one makes a slam dunk for the student of the Bible. The first clue was the 3 translations offered, ESV, ASV, and NKJV. Many will find this limiting as they will probably desire more of a functional translation (like NIV or NLT) but a serious reader will know better and lean towards a formal translation like the 3 mentioned above. The John MacArthur Study Notes add-on was a no-brainer. I have never before been so quick to purchase an add on within an app. At that price, it’s a steal and worth so much more. The amount of content available will send you down a rabbit hole of almost endless study- notes, sermons, articles galore! Customizing the app for optimal reading is also very important to me and I quickly enlarged the text, changed the font, and opted for dark mode. I appreciate the freedom to customize my digital Bible. Another great feature is the digital bookmark. I use a reading plan that has me in two to three places at a time so I got excited to see how easy it was to mark my spot and jump around. I have not had that before in a digital Bible. Great job, GTY team! This is a fine accomplishment!
