Description

Welcome to Tile, the world’s largest lost and found. Tile makes tiny Bluetooth trackers and a companion app that allow you to locate lost or misplaced items in seconds — like your phone, keys, and wallet. Compatible with Tile Mate, Tile Slim and Tile Original. You can order Tiles at http://www.thetileapp.com *Ring your things. Attach or stick Tile devices to anything you don’t want to lose and use the app to ring your stuff when you’re within Bluetooth range. With Tile Slim and Tile Mate you can pick from one of four unique ringtones. *Ring your phone. Can't find your phone? Press any one of your Tile devices to make your lost phone ring —even if it's on silent. *See where you had it last. Keep the app running in the background and it will automatically record the last time and place it saw your item on a map. So, if you left it somewhere, you know where to look first. *Ask others to help. Still can't find your Tiled item? Our “Notify When Found” feature puts every device running the Tile app on the lookout for your lost stuff. If anyone comes within Bluetooth range of your Tile, we'll let you know where it is. This feature is 100% private, so no one knows you're looking for a lost item but you. *Find your phone from any device. Our app turns any phone or tablet into a virtual Tile. Simply download the app on all of your devices — and use the app on one of your devices to find another. Plus, you can use our voice calling feature to call another device from the app — even on silent — to help you get in touch with whoever may have picked up your lost phone.  Notes: * The app utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your Tiles. The maximum range is up to 300 ft for Tiles Pro 2018. * The app utilizes Location Services to record the last known location of your Tiles, based on your phone’s geo-location data. * Continued use of GPS or Bluetooth running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Tile Premium: Tile Premium offers an enhanced finding experience with exclusive features like Smart Alerts, Location History and Unlimited Sharing. Available for a monthly or annual subscription ($2.99/month or $29.99/year). You can subscribe and pay through your iTunes account. Payment will be charged to iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renew may be turned off after purchase by going to the ‘Manage Subscription’ page in settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. The subscription will renew at the same cost. • Please stop spamming for my location

I choose not to share my location with this application. It still does everything I need it to do. But EVERY TIME I launch it I’m met with a modal dialog and a red banner telling me to grant location permission. How did Apple allow this into the App Store?

Constantly nags you to turn on location tracking to “always”. I only need it when I’m using the app. I will be returning my tile.
  • Great tech service

I have a number of Tiles. I started with Tile Mates but upgraded to Tile Pros. I gave them as Christmas presents to my family. I had two that weren’t responding properly even after trying suggestions from YouTube. I went on the Tile site; through the chat option, Vin was able to talk me through a simple reset process and that resolved the issue.

Tile used to be awesome. Since they updated the Bluetooth in the tile app now 2 of my tiles don’t work at all. Spent hours working with support. And the tiles that do work take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to connect. Finding a lost tile using the community doesn’t work any more either. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a tile. Won’t be buying any more.
  • Bugs you for "always on" location access daily

The app does not need always on location access to work for finding your keys or items. However, it alerts you daily, claiming to need this to work. I've been using the app for weeks now without issue, proving that this is an outright lie. Really tired of getting these notifications and messages when I open the app.

Stop asking. I’m considering uninstalling the app and trashing the devices if it keeps asking every time I launch it.
  • Great app but the battery in ios 13....

iOS 13 battery life is terrible. Sitting at home it consumes 35% over a 6 hour period.... Unacceptable for an app I need running 24/7
  • Literally an advertising board for Tile Premium

I told you once that I’m not interested in your premium offer, WHY PROMPT ME EVERY TIME I OPEN THE STUPID APP? Also, WHY OH WHY do you need my phone location and keep prompting EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP? I know you love selling user data, but gawd, can you not make the location prompt less jarring?
  • Location not needed

This app will demand your location at all times whether you need it or not
  • Keep your receipt 🙄

Got tiles for Xmas but they started dying after 6 months. Support verified a replacement was needed but says I need the proof of purchase. It was a gift so I don’t have that. How delightfully archaic. I’m moving to a competitor.
