  • Hunting

I have the Gaia premium package. ONX hunting app is still leaps and bounds better for species data. I do not recommend the premium package.
  • Even old guys can use this app

Invaluable on a hike in Wales. Wouldn’t hike without it now.
  • Users guide for offline usage

    By gratons
I like the appearance of the app and the capabilities of offline usage but I’m having a hard time figuring out how to use/track/plot routs while being offline. Any user guide? Or any help with understanding the app?
  • Best App/Platform for multiple map layers

    By manateemilitia
Great selection of layers and very easy to toggle between the ones I want. Better route planning information would bump this up to 5 stars, specifically the ability to split routes into sections and see the grade/distance, etc for the specific section. For checking a topo when you've lost the trail though, nothing beats this app.
  • GAIA saved my backside!

    By McNomNom
The Gaia gps app has helped me EASILY plan routes and find areas as well as guided me out of some pretty wild and remote country. The map overlays are super helpful. I still haven’t discovered everything this powerful app has to offer but what I do use is far better than any stand alone gps unit. I recommend it to anyone!
  • New hunter

Will be on my first deer hunt trip in a few months. We’ll see how the app performs w/o cell service🤞
  • Screwed previous paid users with the latest update!!!

    By GaltsGulch82
I paid for this app years ago. Now I go to use the app while we are out hiking Yellowstone and all of the functionality I used to have is now a premium service that I have to pay for again. Total crap! I have recommended this app to numerous people over the years. Never again. Shame on the app designers.
  • Best iPhone App?

    By Dcgxxxy
Pretty close. I’ve been using Gaia for quite a few years now, prem version. The map overlays continue. Love the historical wildfires overlay.
  • Rip off

I purchased an app with the same name from the same company years ago. Now that app is not available to download to my newer iPad and iPhone. Now I have to pay again? Great app but disingenuous company. If you pay, expect to pay again, if you want to keep using it.
  • Very good

    By gnite21
I’d give five stars if it had every trail for every hike I wanted to go on. But that is a minor issue. Very good app.
